- Own calculations based on x28 (job vacancies rate) and SLFS 2017 (all other variables). The migration rate is defined as the number of immigrant workers in the labour force (immigrated in the last 10 years) divided by the employed persons. The rate of job vacancies is defined as the number of job vacancies divided by the employed persons plus the number of job vacancies. The rate of unemployment is defined as the number of unemployed persons (as defined by ILO) divided by the economically active persons (that is employed and unemployed persons)
